A Walk in Stangers’ Shoes

Express yourself because no one can do it better

Don’t listen to the negativity just keep climbing the ladder

Regardless of what happens be happy that you’re around

To watch others cheer up that used to be down

Stop telling yourself what you think you can’t accomplish

Practice is all it takes you’ll be a pro before you know it

It doesn’t matter if you’re black, white, yellow, or blue

We are all human beings and in struggle we pull though

We should help each other rise, not watch each other fall

Why laugh at someone when you can help them through it all?

Don’t judge them based off of how they dress, speak, or look

Take some time to get to know them, it’s like with reading a book

Some will react to judgment different from others

Tomorrow morning he or she may be down in the gutters

Not wanting to get up and go to school

All because of words that were said by you

Everyone should have good self-esteem

Ensuring that their mind and body is healthy

So express yourself and let the world see, exactly who you set out to be.
